Letter Home – August 2019

August 5, 2019

Dear Students and Parents,

I hope you all had a wonderful summer!  It is getting close to that time again, time for school and time to firm up the schedule.

Week of August 19th through 23rd NO LESSONS

Please note: I will not be teaching lessons the first week of VUSD school year, the week of August 19th through 23rd.  I am available for lessons that week by request.

FALL SCHEDULE

Download a scheduling and availability form here.  I will also have them available printed in studio as well.

If you would like to keep your current time, great! Let me know and I will mark it on the schedule, no form needed.

If you are looking to change your time, extend your time, or are flexible in your scheduling please fill out the form and bring it to your next lessons.  I will take every possible step toward getting you the time that works best for you.

There are NEW lesson times available this year during the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:30 and 11:30am.

POLICY CHANGES

All students are required to pay for lessons monthly.  This applies to all payment methods including PayPal.  All lesson payments will be due the first lesson of the month.  Lessons cancelled with 24 hours’ notice will be made up or applied to the following month.  If you need special circumstances please speak with me and we will work something out.

HOMESCHOOL

I have submitting my materials to become a homeschool vendor for both Inspire and Golden Valley Schools.  If you are interested in switching to lessons through your homeschool please let me know.  Referrals are appreciated as well.

WINTER RECITAL

Mark your Calendars, the Winter Recital Date will be Sunday, December 8th at 2pm.  As with the past two recitals Orchard Community Church will be our hosts.  More details to follow as we get closer to the date!

There will be a small fee this year for the recital: Piano students $10, Voice Students $20 and an additional $5 per extra vocal song.  The fee will cover the cost of the accompanist, and recital overhead. Please prepare for this cost.

THANK YOU
